Job Requirements A bachelor\'s degree in business, marketing, communications, event management, or a related field is typically preferred. Several years of relevant experience in account management, client servicing, or sales, preferably in the events or hospitality industry. Experience managing accounts for events of various scales and types. Understanding of the event planning and management industry, including knowledge of current trends, suppliers, and best practices. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients, team members, and vendors. Ability to create compelling presentations and proposals. Proven experience in building and maintaining strong client relationships. Ability to understand client needs, expectations, and provide tailored solutions. Strong sales and negotiation skills to secure new business and upsell services to existing clients. Ability to meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to revenue growth. Proficient project management skills to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of events. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure they are delivered on time and within budget. Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, including event planners, marketing, production, and logistics. Leadership skills to motivate and guide a team towards successful project outcomes. Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges that may arise during the planning and execution of events.
