POSITION SUMMARY:
As the Assistant Manager - Sustainability, you will play a pivotal role in driving and managing the company's sustainability and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) initiatives.
You will be responsible for implementing sustainability strategies, overseeing performance reporting, and promoting company-wide engagement in sustainable practices.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
SUSTAINABILITY STRATEGY
Implement sustainability governance frameworks and develop the company's sustainability blueprint.
Design, execute, and monitor initiatives aligned with sustainability standards, reporting frameworks, and disclosure requirements.
Support the formulation and implementation of strategies that align with corporate goals and regulatory expectations.
DATA MANAGEMENT
Collect, analyze, and interpret sustainability performance data and key metrics.
Prepare periodic reports to track progress and inform decision-making.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Lead and oversee sustainability-related projects to ensure delivery within budget, scope, and timelines.
REPORTING
Contribute to the preparation of the annual Sustainability Report and Integrated Annual Report, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
Identify and propose initiatives to enhance the company's sustainability performance and operational efficiency.
MANAGEMENT & BOARD SUPPORT
Prepare presentation materials, set meeting agendas, and track follow-up actions for management and board meetings.
AWARENESS & ENGAGEMENT
Develop sustainability awareness programs and coordinate CSR activities, employee engagement events, training sessions, and social media content related to sustainability.
ESG COMPLIANCE
Support the development and implementation of the company's ESG reporting strategy and ensure compliance with applicable standards and frameworks.
REGULATORY MONITORING
Stay updated on evolving sustainability and ESG regulations, ensuring continuous alignment with industry and legal requirements.
WEBSITE ADMINISTRATION
Manage and update sustainability-related content on the company's website and other corporate communication platforms.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION
Bachelor's or professional degree in a related field.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 5 - 10 years in related fields, with experience in sustainability/ESG reporting and annual report production.
SKILLS
Familiarity with corporate reporting, governance, and sustainability/ESG frameworks.
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
Fast learner and self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
Proficient in MS Office/excel/PowerPoint applications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in Mandarin.
High level of professionalism and integrity.
Ability to work independently, multi-task and manage multiple projects concurrently.
