Job Description

Lead Pricing Strategy Development: Oversee the creation and refinement of pricing models and methodologies. Ensure that pricing strategies are competitive and aligned with market conditions and corporate objectives.
Market Analysis: Conduct detailed market analyses to inform pricing decisions. Monitor industry trends, competitor pricing, and regulatory changes to adjust pricing models accordingly.
Team Leadership and Development: Manage and mentor a team of actuaries. Foster a collaborative environment and support professional development through training and performance feedback.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all pricing activities comply with regulatory requirements. Prepare and submit rate filings to regulatory authorities as needed.
Collaboration: Work closely with underwriting, product development, and finance teams to integrate pricing strategies into overall business plans. Provide actuarial support for new product development and enhancements.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize statistical and actuarial techniques to analyze data and generate reports. Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the pricing function. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance pricing accuracy and efficiency.
