Located at the heart of the Kuala Lumpur City Centre, Traders Hotel by Shangri-la is looking for an Assistant Marketing Manager.

As Assistant Marketing Manager we rely on you:

Responsible in customer engagement efforts, contribute to short and long-term marketing solutions to maintain and drive market share, guest engagement and brand loyalty which are aligned with the hotel\'s commercial goals.

Responsible for development and dissemination of key messaging across multiple channels including emails, social media, website and tactical marketing collaterals.

Support the Director of Communications to develop and implement digital marketing strategies which includes Internet, mobile devices, social media, search engines, and other channels to reach consumers in line with the hotel\'s overall goal on online business.

Produces creative content to a high standard that drives awareness, engagement and conversion, including the creation of content marketing assets such as photography or video, to deliver on commercial marketing requirements.

Develops and maintains media contacts, plans press conferences and other press activities. Acts as hotel\'s liaison with media

Manages the hotel\'s social media (FB/IG) and other relevant platforms engagement in the approved social media platforms in accordance to HQ Corporate policies and guidelines Monitors and manages the hotel\'s online brand sentiment using the reputation monitoring tool to identify operational challenges that affect ratings and report them to Director of Communications

Measures and communicates success of campaigns and digital performance using relevant reports tools including Facebook Analytics, Social Media Analytic Tools and Adobe Analytics.

Requirements:

Bachelor\'s Degree in mass communications or Bachelor\'s Degree in Marketing

Good command in writing & speaking English. Able to speak other languages will be an added advantage.

Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner.

With a minimum of two (2) years working experience in similar capacity.

Eye for details and photography skills \xc2\xb7

Familiar with platforms i.e. Canva and other relevant platforms related to creating content

Good knowledge of computer (office) software and operates office equipment skillfully.

Due to work permit restrictions, only citizens of Malaysia and Permanent Residents of Malaysia shall be considered.
