Position Overview



The

Assistant Project Manager (Special Project)

supports the planning, execution, and completion of strategic F&B projects, including new outlet launches, renovations, and other special initiatives. This role ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards while maintaining alignment with brand guidelines.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of coordinating multiple stakeholders across operations, marketing, design, and construction teams.

Requirements



Education:

Degree or Diploma in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.

Experience:

2-5 years in project coordination or management, preferably in F&B, retail, or hospitality industries.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong project management and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work with cross-functional teams and external vendors. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Trello, or Asana). Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.

Other Requirements:

Willingness to conduct site visits and travel to outlets. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities



Project Planning & Coordination



Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and budgets for special projects. Coordinate with internal teams (Operations, Marketing, Design, and Finance) to ensure smooth project execution. Monitor project milestones and track progress to ensure deadlines are met. Maintain documentation including project plans, schedules, approvals, and reports.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management



Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Support negotiation, procurement, and contract management as required. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Project Execution & Monitoring



Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction, interior fit-outs, and outlet readiness. Identify potential risks or issues and escalate to Project Manager with recommended solutions. Assist in quality control checks, ensuring that deliverables meet brand standards and specifications.

Reporting & Analysis



Prepare project status updates, reports, and presentations for management. Maintain accurate records of costs, timelines, and project outcomes. Assist in post-project evaluation and lessons-learned documentation for continuous improvement.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,300.00 per month
