Job Description

\xe2\x80\xa2 The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for assisting Project Managers and/or Superintendents in coordinating the activities of a project to ensure cost, schedule, document control and quality standards are met. \xe2\x80\xa2 Responsible for assisting Project Manager in coordinating the activities of a project to ensure cost, schedule, document control and quality standard are met. \xe2\x80\xa2 Coordinating internal resources and third parties/ vendors for the flawless execution of projects \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to review drawings and specifications to become completely familiar with the project and identify long lead time and critical path items. \xe2\x80\xa2 Distribute all short interval and overall project schedules. Ensure subcontractors have the most up to ate scopes of work. Assist PM in the development of the overall project schedule. \xe2\x80\xa2 Pursue and monitor submittals and track deliveries of materials. Verify all submittal conformity to plans & specifications. \xe2\x80\xa2 Collect supervisor daily reports, weekly project pictures and safety documentation. Review for completeness and include in project documentation. Inform PM of deficiencies. \xe2\x80\xa2 Attend weekly project meetings as requested by PM and keep detailed meeting minutes for publishing to project team. \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintain client relationships at the appropriate level reinforcing the Company\xe2\x80\x99s commitment to continuously addressing their needs and interests. \xe2\x80\xa2 Work collaboratively with outside parties (I.e. the design team, etc.) to accomplish client goals. \xe2\x80\xa2 Demonstrate effective relationship building within the project team and throughout the Company. Keep field team members (i.e. Supervisor) informed and active in decision-making. \xe2\x80\xa2 Always promote positive subcontractor relations by dealing professionally and fairly with all subcontractors and vendors instilling this philosophy in project team. \xe2\x80\xa2 Participating in tender process i.e. design, submission and review. \xe2\x80\xa2 Obtaining customer acceptance of project deliverables. \xe2\x80\xa2 Consistently follows/enforces the Company\xe2\x80\x99s safety procedures and policies \xe2\x80\xa2 Carry out Ad Hoc task or projects for continuous work process improvement from time to time as required by the superior/ the Company.
