Assistant Restaurant Manager

To support the Restaurant Manager, we are seeking a self-starting and proactive Assistant Restaurant Manager to aid in the operations, strategizing and overall growth of the restaurant. This includes maintaining budgets and optimising expenses, managing employees, handling guests, ensuring employees work productively and develop professionally and overseeing recruitment and training of new employees. He or she will also be the stand-in manager in the absence of the Restaurant Manager. He or she also needs to be a good communicator with excellent customer service skills, staying tactful, friendly and polite to customers while balancing the good sales skills to promote menus.

- maintain budgets and optimise expenses
- manage employees
- handle guests who come to the four different concepts within Potager
- ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
- oversee recruitment and training of new employees
- be the stand-in manager in the absence of the Restaurant Manager
- be a good communicator with excellent customer service skills
- has the ability to stay tactful, friendly and polite to customers while balancing the good sales skills to promote menus

Skills

- Minimum WSET Level 2

- Fluent in English

- Minimum 6 years working experience in hospitality industry

- Minimum 2 years working in a managerial role

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
