s & Key Responsibilities

The Restaurant Assistant Manager\xe2\x80\x99s demeanor must be reflective at all times of the highest standards of professionalism exemplified by the Four Seasons brand. A consistently positive attitude, knowledge of all aspects of the operation, an outgoing personality, a high degree of flexibility, energy, enthusiasm, and attention to detail are ideal characteristics for this role. Additionally, this role is empowered and encouraged to develop at every opportunity, management skills relating to guest interaction, concern handling as well as logistical problem solving, staff development, product, and service enhancement.

Some job descriptions for the position are shared below :

  • Observe physical condition of facilities and equipment in the outlet and make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed.
  • Comply with Four Seasons\xe2\x80\x99 Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
  • The ability to work closely with the Restaurant Manager, Director of Food & Beverage, Director of Restaurants, Executive Chef to design an effective menu and wine list while ensuring excellent product quality at a fair price and attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments.
  • Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
  • Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees, supervisors and assistant managers in the Resort\xe2\x80\x99s Restaurant to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met long-range strategic planning for outlet operation .
