\xef\xbb\xbfClient Background: Our client is leading worldwide Japan-based international logistics service provider The Company\'s line of business includes the arranging of transportation of freight and cargo.Industry : Global logistics ServicesLocation: Subang JayaHeadcount: 1Position Title: Assistant Sea Freight ManagerTenure: PermanentRemuneration: RM5,000 - RM 7,000:\xc2\xb7 To assist the Branch Manager, oversee and managing the whole Sea freight Department and providing guidance and necessary training to staff.\xc2\xb7 To secure new customers, service existing customers, attend to customers\' requests, and ensure customer satisfaction.\xc2\xb7 Monitoring daily activities of import/export to ensure the smooth running of daily customs clearance/shipment activities.\xc2\xb7 Strong negotiation power of rates from Shipping Lines, co[1]Loaders, and NVOCC.\xc2\xb7 Correspond and communicate with overseas group offices and agents via e-mail, fax/phone pertaining to inquiries and information feedback to/from customers.\xc2\xb7 Ensure Monthly Tonnage Reports for import/export are submitted on time to Branch Manager\xc2\xb7 To meet and achieve monthly and yearly sea freight targets. To work closely with all internal departments.\xc2\xb7 Close follow-up and securing of debtors\' payments. Ensure all job files, billing & costing are completed and submitted to Accounts on time for fast invoicing/mailing to customers.\xc2\xb7 Coordinate & provide seamless information feedback to/from Sales and operation Staff/Customer Service on any special arrangement requested by/offered to customers to ensure smooth & excellent service.Job Requirement:\xc2\xb7 HCS/STPM/Diploma holders in Marketing / Mass Communications /\xc2\xb7 Business Administration / Transport with a minimum of 5 years\' experience in the forwarding Industry.\xc2\xb7 Ability to write and converse effectively in English and Bahasa Malaysia.\xc2\xb7 Must be computer literate (Ms. Word, Excel & PowerPoint, etc.).\xc2\xb7 Good knowledge of Customs and Port Authority procedures.\xc2\xb7 Strong leadership qualities with motivational skills.\xc2\xb7 Able to lead a team of departments and willing to travel extensively.\xc2\xb7 Possess your own transport with a valid license.Sub Specialization : Supply Chain & Logistics;Shipment / Freight Forwarding
