Assistant Teacher
Job Description
Job Responsibilities 1. Facilitate classes according to the curriculum guidelines. 2. Participate in regular duties outside lesson times. 3. Offer all students equal opportunities to learn and maintain an environment in which no student is exposed to discriminatory behavior. 4. Undertake tasks associated with the ongoing development of the school\xe2\x80\x99s curriculum. 5. Create a classroom environment conducive to the development of critical and creative learning and appropriate for the physical, social, and emotional development of students. 6. Maintain a safe, clean, learning environment and ensuring the wellbeing and safety of the children in his/her care. 7. Participate in staff meetings, training days, parent-teacher conferences, and school functions according to the published schedule. Job Requirements 1. Minimum a Diploma in Early Childhood Education, Diploma in TESL or relevant discipline. 2. The ability to speak excellent English, Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, and a foreign language is highly desirable. 3. Experience in private or international education is preferred. 4. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. 5. Act as a positive role model for students. 6. A keen learner and team player with a positive working attitude.
