JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible to manage the Network and Service Operations team supporting and maintaining the ISP Core Network and Systems. This includes providing service assurance in maintaining technical specification, network infra and software updates, resolving day to day network problems across the services and providing guidance and training to the teams for Astro broadband products, services, and solutions. What you will do: Lead the 24x7 NOC support team to perform day-to-day duties, support operational and technical matters, carry out detailed system checks and tasks in accordance to set KPIs and to resolve trouble tickets with stipulated SLA/OLA timelines. Manage network operations, strategic planning and user services, including troubleshooting, device status and IT/Network infrastructure restoration. To maintain stringent change management controls over the Infra and Network environment. Keep track on department maintenance activities, both Preventive and Corrective which relates directly to impact of broadband availability and uptime. Prioritise issues and coordinate escalation and service issues between all functional areas. Ensure that all daily reports and incident reports are accurate and delivered on time. Responsible for reviewing and continuously update Standard Operating Procedures and Business Continuity Plans and periodically tests them. Working closely with development, engineering and project teams, providing solutions to improve service delivery and customer Quality of Experience. Ensure suitable and appropriate security standards and policies are maintained on network and broadband services. Develop strategies to deliver year-on-year savings for OPEX to sustain a low maintenance cost without jeopardising service level agreement and high availability. Identify areas for process and efficiency improvement within the NOC and recommend prioritized enhancements and oversee implementation. REQUIREMENTS: Who you are: Bachelor\'s Degree in Network, Telecommunications or Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a recognized University/College. Minimum 5-8 years\' experience managing a 24/7 Network Operation Centre. Good knowledge and understanding on network infra, broadband, fiber and WDM system Good command in English (written & spoken) and able to write detailed technical documents. Good managerial role and able to persuade subordinates in adopting to teamwork culture. Ability to enhance personal skill in line with current technologies and provide knowledge transfer to subordinates. Equipped with technical problem-solving mindset and always adopt to customer experience.
