Duties and Responsibilities:

• Close coordination with department owners on updates / status of capital acquisitions, in construction and existing assets including collation of documentation requirements such as PQ/IQ/OQ documents, handover documents, etc.
• Periodic physical count of assets, or as needed.
• Track and validate project costs posted in Construction in Progress (CIP) account.
• Assist in the month end closing process thru preparation of monthly closing Journal Entries as needed.
• Review Accounts Payable entries for possible reclass of incorrect postings of capital expenditures.
• Conduct audits of fixed assets to confirm that they are recorded accurately in accordance with regulations.
• Collate artifacts in support of SOX Controls for Capital Expenditures.
• Work closely with department owners to coordinate statutory and audit related works to ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and meeting timelines
• Provide support including documentation collection and validations on incentive conditions compliance assessment, grants reimbursement and other government submission
• Checking and filing documentation
• Provide local support as needed to various finance functions in Malaysia.
• Perform special projects as needed
