Location : Kuala LumpurROLE PURPOSE:
Deliver customer-focused, effective, and efficient funds transfer and securities settlement services to ensure that RENTAS becomes a payment and settlement system of choice.
Initiate and lead projects related to RENTAS functionalities. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILTIES
Formulate and implement stringent operational procedures, establish proper documentation, and uphold internal controls to ensure orderly clearing, payment, and settlement processing as well as to mitigate all possible risks associated with the delivery of services.
Execute daily operational and administrative tasks to ensure timely completion of all clearing, payment, and settlement processes.
Lead projects to implement and improve payments infrastructure.
Undertake continuous process improvements by benchmarking against standards and adopting models, best practices, and methodologies, and ensuring they are in accordance with PayNets guidelines and stakeholder expectations.
Implement measures to ensure service continuity, and minimal business disruption, in accordance with the expectations of all stakeholders, international standards and best practices.
Undertake rigorous quantitative analysis of payment flows and liquidity positions to build simulation models to assess events and issues that are of systemic importance.
Ensure compliance with regulatory expectations and requirements.
To be aware of and uphold the security responsibilities as stated in the companys Information Security Policy.
To ensure all the information asset processing and day-to-day activities are based on the companys Guidelines on Information Handling and Security Classification
Ensure issues are managed and resolved within the acceptable timeline. Communicate with stakeholders (internal and external) on matters related to RENTAS operations, operational procedures updates and any developments in payments and regulatory requirements.QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE:
Academic Qualifications: Degree or Diploma in Economics/ Business/ Finance/ Accounting/Insurance/ Islamic finance/ Statistics, Risk management, Mathematics, or other similar qualifications; AND
Experience: More than 2 years relevant experience in financial sector, economics, or finance with good understanding of high value settlement and securities settlement. Exposure to treasury settlement is an added advantageJob Type: Contract
