We are currently recruiting an Associate Cloud Engineer to join our Cloud Engineering & IT Services team based in Kuala Lumpur.

As a critical internal support function, the Cloud Engineering & IT Services team\xe2\x80\x99s purpose is to ensure that all other Tribal staff can continuously do their jobs effectively and productively, from an IT systems and services perspective.

The Role

The role of the Associate Cloud Engineer is to help carry out operational and maintenance tasks on software platforms associated with the company\xe2\x80\x99s products, on both Cloud Systems and client-provided infrastructure (collectively \xe2\x80\x9cManaged Environments\xe2\x80\x9d). Operations staff support and troubleshoot application availability, key properties, systems, networks, and servers and work closely with system, network, database and middleware administrators and IaaS providers.

This role falls within the scope of Tribal\xe2\x80\x99s On Call and Out of Hours Working policy. Regular out-of-hours working may therefore be required to fulfil the requirements of the role, and this will be compensated in line with the policy.

Your core responsibilities will include:
Gain a full understanding of Tribal\xe2\x80\x99s Microsoft AWS and Azure platforms.
Contribute to the support, monitoring and maintenance of the Tribal Cloud technical environments.
Maintaining documentation of infrastructure, security, implementation, service
continuity and other relevant areas.
To work within the core business support framework to resolve calls and provide technical support and guidance when required.
To contribute to our monitoring and alerting process in order to resolve issues proactively.

To be successful in this role it will be essential that you can demonstrate an expert working knowledge of the following:

Has ITIL V3 or V4 Foundation & AZ-900 Microsoft Azure Fundamentals.
Has knowledge of Linux, VM and Citrix
Highly motivated to learn and train in Cloud technologies.
Good interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team, sometimes across different time zones.
