Job Description

As a Senior Cloud Engineer you will be tasked with delivering automation, code, and consulting for Dominos Public Cloud platforms. You will work closely with all the Global Software Delivery Teams, Production Support team and Infrastructure team.This role will drive cloud native technology adoption and automation practices ensuring they meet the DevOps requirements of our Technology Strategy. As a Senior you will additionally be tasked with taking a technical leadership role within your team and a leadership role on the Cloud Engineering and DevOps standards and processes. This role is critical in maintaining the quality and availability of our production cloud solutions that guide the success and profitability of our business.\xc2\xb7 Create and maintain code & templates used for the automation of cloud infrastructure provisioning.
\xc2\xb7 Create and maintain continuous integration and release pipelines.
\xc2\xb7 Participate in agile ceremonies such as inceptions, daily standups and retro\'s when assigned to a project.
\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with Architecture, Development and Cloud Operations teams in the design, implementation, deployment and maintenance of cloud based solutions
\xc2\xb7 Documentation of developed solutions and processes, as per required standards.
\xc2\xb7 Peer review of code developed by the Cloud Engineering and Development teams.
\xc2\xb7 Run training sessions / brown bags for development staff on developed templates and solutions.
\xc2\xb7 Champion DevOps best practices such as single-click deployments and "configuration as code" within the technology team.
\xc2\xb7 Provide guidance within the practice of Cloud Engineering and DevOps and contribute to the continual improvement of the practice.
\xc2\xb7 Act as a technical mentor to associate level Cloud Engineers and developers.Strong global presence|Young and dynamic culture and flexible working environment\xc2\xb7 Five years proven production Public Cloud engineering experience.
\xc2\xb7 Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or equivalent.
\xc2\xb7 Cloud Certifications (MS Azure, AWS).
\xc2\xb7 Recent experience working within a public cloud environment, particularly Azure and/or AWS
\xc2\xb7 Writing code and templates to define cloud infrastructure using technologies such as Terraform, ARM, Cloud Formation etc
\xc2\xb7 Creation of deployment pipelines to automate the deployment of cloud infrastructure using continuous integration technologies such as Azure DevOps, Team City, Jenkins, etc
\xc2\xb7 Comfortable using source code repositories for managing source code, code reviews
\xc2\xb7 Understanding of networking as it applies to cloud infrastructure - network design and implementation with Azure VNet\'s and/or AWS VPC\'s
\xc2\xb7 Strong knowledge of and experience working with modern cloud application architectures and the technologies that are commonly used to support them, including options for serving web content, web services, caching, data and file storage, load balancing
\xc2\xb7 Understanding of security as it applies to cloud solutions - WAF technologies, resource access configuration
