JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
What you will do:

• Key focus for this post is to support SAVP, Anti-piracy in delivering security solutions and help stakeholders in protecting Astro premium content channels, live events and video assets.
• Assist and support SAVP, Anti-piracy in the execution of technical aspects on security development across the various devices and platforms comprising DTH, OTT, Internet, e-commerce and Social Media platform.
• Support, collaborate and coordinate content protection matters with various internal stakeholders, vendors, industry partners, law enforcement, regulators.
• Perform day to day detection of pirate source on illicit streaming services, ATP and validation, research, monitor, analyse, and report on emerging trends and AV security technologies
• Provide Weekly report for the team.

REQUIREMENTS:
Who you are:

• Proficiency in Windows Operating System and Linux
• Possessed strong technical knowledge in TCP/IP and networking protocols, traditional network and cloud CDN as well as streaming technologies and protocols (HLS, Flash/RTMP, DASH, etc.).
• Basic understanding of security encryption and DRM technology.
• Experience using network analysis tools such as Tshark, TCPDump and Wireshark.
• Experience with programming (Python scripting, Perl, C++ and PHP).
• Basic knowledge in big data analytical skills and have the ability to analyse, model and interpret data.
• Knowledge on video delivery in the cloud and in on-premises /off-premises environments
• Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, PowerPoint in particular)
• Ability to swiftly search the Internet and navigate complex websites beyond the basic use of search engines.
• Experience in online marketplaces and experience in copyright infringement report and takedown process is a plus.
• Possess creative problem-solving skills and have the ability to gather, analyze, and disseminate information accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ability to communicate well, both in writing and orally, with people of all experience levels.
• Possess the highest level of work ethics and integrity with the ability to maintain confidential information.
