Job Description
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to lead the legal function in the APAC region and be pro-active within the management team
- Manage a team of legal associates
- Drafting, reviewing, negotiating and advising in respect of a variety of agreements including:
o Sale, installation and maintenance agreements
o Network services agreement
o Co-location and carrier agreements
o Software licenses
o Lease agreements
o Confidential agreements
o Distribution and Service Partner agreements
o Data processor agreements * Responding to the legal aspects in tender responses
- Liaise with the global legal team in EMEA and US and comply with any requests
- Assist with the APAC region to create / implement / review / amend processes/training as and when required
- Provide ad hoc legal advice and assistance when required
- Law Degree or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of PQE or equivalent
- Experience in leading APAC legal teams
- Preferably those who has experience in telecommunications or IT industry
- It would be an advantage to have experience dealing with companies in the financial services sector.
- It would be an advantage to have in-house experience and ability to communicate with non-legal personnel and provide practical solutions
