The Role



The Associate Growth Director is a senior, client-facing leadership role focused on driving new business growth and deepening strategic relationships with key clients. This role blends strategic thinking with commercial leadership to expand the agency's reach across creative, social, media services, and AL-driven technology solutions. The ideal candidate is dynamic, commercially savvy, and experienced in winning new business, building high-value partnerships and delivering integrated marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities



New Business Development

Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across creative, social, media, and AI solutions. Develop and implement plans to grow the agency's client base and revenue pipeline. Build and leverage a strong professional network and market insights to position the agency competitively. Lead and coordinate pitch teams to deliver compelling proposals and presentations. Drive high new business conversion rates by selling the agency's marketing and technology capabilities to prospective clients. Proactively identify opportunities to grow existing clients' business through additional services or new solutions.
Client Leadership

Serve as a senior point of contact, providing strategic counsel and ensuring high standards of delivery. Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders to unlock new opportunities and deepen partnerships. Collaborate closely with internal teams to develop integrated strategies that align with client objectives.
Strategic & Commercial Planning

Contribute to the agency's growth strategy by identifying market trends, client needs, and innovation opportunities. Ensure business development activities align with long-term revenue and profitability goals. Provide regular reporting to senior leadership on sales performance, pipeline status, and key market developments.
Team Collaboration & Leadership

Partner with creative, media, social, and AI teams to ensure seamless delivery of integrated solutions. Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing best practices in business development and client management. Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture that encourages knowledge sharing and innovation.
Innovation & AI Solutions

Advocate for the agency's AI-driven visual analytics solutions as part of client strategies. Educate and inspire clients on how emerging technologies can drive brand growth, efficiency, and differentiation.

Requirements



Proven experience in winning new business in a marketing, creative, or media agency. 7+ years in client management, business development, or sales strategy roles. Strong knowledge of creative, social, media services; experience with AI or tech is a plus. Strong network and ability to build senior client relationships. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Commercially minded with good financial skills. Experience leading teams and working on integrated projects. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or similar; MBA is a plus. Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin is an advantage. Organized, proactive, and able to handle multiple projects under pressure. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM5,867.23 - RM14,263.14 per month
