Role description

1. Product/Platform Hardware Engineer

(Junior)

Demonstrated debug capability for hardware - critical skill. Demonstrated communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex technical topics for non-technical audiences (English, Mandarin). Demonstrated lab and debug experience at the ingredient or platform level, with familiarity in using protocol analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc. Reasonable knowledge of computer architecture and Intel Client products. Experience using and analyzing with Intel debug tools (DCI, PTAT, etc.). Basic hardware skills: schematic and layout review, soldering/rework, and signal measurement. Good understanding of debug environment setup, including Windows OS installation and full Intel BKC deployment. Strong familiarity with Intel hardware test tools such as Intel Power and Thermal Analysis Tool, Intel System Scope Tool, Intel IO Margin Tool, and PowerHouse Mountain. Preferred: Experience using Intel BSOD Debug Advisor and Intel System Debugger for preliminary analysis.

Qualifications

Bachelor's in electrical / Electronic / Computer Engineering or equivalent with 2 - 5 years of relevant experience Analytical and strong problem-solving skills, and ability to drive issues to closure are essential Strong verbal and written communication skills and fluency across English and Mandarin
