Job Description


The Position

  • Manage the development, implementation and execution of the assigned brands in MY SG
  • Interprets and translates scientific clinical data into commercial implications.
  • Conducts and manages primary and secondary market research projects, including labelling and advertising.
  • Analyses data and makes strategic recommendations. Provides marketing insight and direction to optimize new product launches.
  • Recommends pricing strategies, and monitors budget and expenditures. Ensures product placement and development corresponds to market needs.
  • Represents marketing group on cross\xe2\x80\x93functional team interfacing with product development, production and manufacturing to develop new products or enhance existing products or product lines.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Leading the development of marketing tactical plans, implementation and influencing third-parties.
  • Monitoring and directly supervising all marketing programs of assigned brand according to budget
  • Developing briefs for communication and media agencies.
  • Coordinate with Technical team and distributors to support them in product knowledge and marketing support.
  • Plans and organizes the day-to-day implementation of marketing plans, including development and placement of advertising and public relations materials, preparation of sales support materials, education materials for wholesaler representatives, dissemination of relevant market and technical information to sales representatives, organization of display materials for trade shows and conferences.
  • Tracks sales and market share trends against plan and amends tactics as required to maximize sales volume/profitability.
  • Spends a significant amount of working time in the field with the sales team and independently to keep in touch with market trends and customer needs and in technical support.
  • Monitors expenditures regularly and implements spending contingency plans as required.
  • Monitors product inventory expiration dates and implements established inventory clearance procedures to minimize write offs and address obsolescence.
  • Prepares and input accurate monthly forecasts of the product.
Requirements
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Marketing or related area. Veterinary and/or AH Professional training will be an advantage.
  • Preferably 5 years\' experience in the Animal Health area of which 2 years are in a Marketing role.
  • Preferably working experience in veterinary clinic, knowledge of the vet and pharmaceutical industry.
  • Ability to translate strategies into actionable and realistic marketing actions. Solid knowledge of strategic and tactical marketing principles and techniques including digital knowledge.
  • Strong track records of analysis to drive businesses and unlocking business opportunities.
  • Knowledge and leadership skills in marketing concepts, strategies, and tactics.
  • Strong presentation skills with proven ability to communicate (English language proficiency verbally and in writing) with a diverse group of people and audiences.
  • High integrity and ethical standards.
  • Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills to support an ability to manage multiple projects at once. Ability to influence team activities and driver results.
