Job Description


We are looking to hire a motivated and team oriented Associate Product Manager covering Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia & Brunei. Your primary role will be as a key support to the business and to develop product knowledge at a subject matter expert level. Ideally you will have diagnostic lab experience, product knowledge from similar product lines, as well as knowledge of clinical applications. Additionally, you will be contributing to developing and executing marketing activities to drive the strategic direction of product positioning and Go to Market (GTM) development, marketing, and support sales.

This person will have a positive, can-do attitude and work closely with the Chanel Partners and Sales team to provide support and effective management of existing accounts in line with the territory management plans. The Associate Product Manager will upskill our channel partners by conducting comprehensive training for instrument installations including method verification and troubleshooting as and when required. This position is expected to contribute directly to customer retention through assisting the progression of sales opportunities and improvements in service delivery and face to face support for CP thus enabling the Sales Team to focus on direct business development activities. Ensuring execution of marketing activities to launch new products and to secure growth on existing product lines.

I. Key Responsibilities

Develop marketing initiatives that meet business goals and revenue targets by collaborating with internal departments.

Creating and managing budgets for product development and marketing activities

Organise key conferences, events and trade shows to promote and engage with External Experts as speakers.

Develop your product knowledge to a level that will be able to support training for CP applications associates and develop methods to benchmark proficiencies across the teams.

Support Channel Partners, sales, and customer service teams in addressing product-related inquiries, issues and training.

As an escalation point for the CP attend to individual customer requirements including training as required, problem solving and troubleshooting.

Assist with managing and retention of existing accounts.

Liaise and work closely with Service Engineers as required to address specific instrument problems.

Collaborate with stakeholders to drive the strategic direction of the product lines in conjunction with the Leadership and Sales teams internally and externally to grow and strengthen the position in the market.

Identify, develop and activate Key Opinion Leaders (KOL\xe2\x80\x99s) in support of the product strategy to create awareness and build peer-to-peer communication.

Assist and develop the successful execution of product launches, marketing initiatives and campaigns.

Providing support to the CP\xe2\x80\x99s and sales on the business development plans.

Maintain and manage existing Radiometer customer relationships, promote the Radiometer brand; proactively seek out opportunities for service delivery improvement.

Document all customer related activities in CRM as required in a timely way.

Be a subject matter specialist, demonstrating expertise on products, competitors and clinical and scientific topics.

Work closely with all business units to ascertain the tools, support and knowledge you require to ensure you are confident and comfortable with the product line.

Suggest which ideas should be promoted to push the product strategy forward \xe2\x80\x94 namely those that will achieve key objectives for the product line and business.

Supporting internal and external customer queries, assist with managing product allocation and regulatory issues.

Assist with tender responses as required.

Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and standards for medical devices.

Maintain Radiometer\xe2\x80\x99s high level of customer service both internally and externally.

Keep abreast of scientific / clinical developments as they pertain to the Radiometer product range.

Attend online training courses that are available.

Highlight and discuss short and long-term training requirements with the Line Manager at regular reviews.

Any other duty as may be required.

a) Formal Education

Tertiary Scientific Qualification or equivalent proven experience.

Marketing qualifications would be advantageous.

b) \xe2\x80\x9cMust Have\xe2\x80\x9d Competencies / Skills / Experience

Essential

Experience in Medical Diagnostic industry or Medical/Healthcare setting.

Experience in Sales & Marketing.

Knowledge of Clinical chemistry and understanding of laboratory practices.

Ability to work and prioritise multiple tasks effectively.

Ability to travel regionally and interstate, including a valid drivers\xe2\x80\x99 license.

Working with cross functional teams.

Ability to critically evaluate problems and drive to the root cause.

Communicate both internally and externally in a professional manner.

Desirable

Experience in basic maintenance of Point of Care or Laboratory equipment.

Detailed knowledge of Radiometer products and offerings.

Competent CRM user.

Familiarity with quality processes.

c) Language

Fluent English and Malay

d) IT

Competent user across Microsoft 365 applications, CRM

e) Travel (required estimated % of time)

30% of estimate traveling expected

Ability to travel, including a valid drivers\xe2\x80\x99 license.

On occasion required to work outside of business hours.
