Job Description

Purpose of Job We are looking for talent who manages the support of day-to-day reinsurance services. Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities Assist on the premium payable (settlements), collection for outstanding premium, and minimizing on bad debt provision. Assist the department and Finance team on the reconciliation on the RI CAB statement on monthly basis. Review monthly provision report for the outstanding premium (receivable). Process monthly statement (SOA) to the cedent and reinsurers and ensure on the delivery on scheduled time. Communicate with the reinsurers/cedent for writing off if irrecoverable. Support the team in maintaining accurate reinsurance documentation, performing thorough reviews and quality checks. Monitor the outstanding premium from every cedents and ensure on the Notice of Cancellation (NOA) due to non-premium payment (if any) is sent / delivered to the relevant Cedent. Attend necessary meetings to stay informed about operational updates and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Build and maintain strong relationships with identified cedents and reinsurers, fostering efficient operational processes for both parties. Compliance Ensure compliance with all applicable Company and/or Group policies and procedures Maintain accurate records and deal with correspondence appropriately Knowledge and Experience and Skill Diploma or bachelor\'s degree in accounting, business administration, finance or related disciplines. Minimum 1 - 2 years\' of related working experience in credit control . Possess relevant knowledge of the principles of Insurance will be preferable Able to communicate effectively both orally and written in English Computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point) Ability to work effectively within a team Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
