Owner of end-to-end billings and collections processes. Provides expertise and guidance to the team on updated general accounting practices and acts as coordinator for operational activities within the team, including driving change and optimizing accounting service delivery.

Responsibilities :

• Manage and lead the Credit Control Team to ensure that all receivable benchmarks and KPIs are achieved.
• In respect of distribution channels: Includes but not limited to agents, brokers, reinsurance, multinational, bancassurance; corporate and consumers.
• In respect of lines of business: Includes but not limited to property & casualty, accident & health, fire mortgage and specialty products.
• Prepare Credit Control Reports to CFO and Regional Finance.
• Analyse data to establish problem accounts, producers, line of business, distribution channels and booking/collection procedures to rectify receivable issues.
• Establish and refine receipting, matching and reconciliation procedures.
• Performs reconciliation between the company\xe2\x80\x99s statement of accounts vs brokers/insurers/reinsurers statement of accounts.
• Works with external and internal stakeholders such as intermediaries, underwriters, distribution and policy admin to resolve issues affecting receivables.
• Able to work independently and drive solutions with brokers/agents/bank partners as well as internal stakeholders to resolve receivable or reconciliation issues.
• Possesses excellent people-skills to manage and ensure that receivables are collected successfully.
• Takes initiative to follow-up on receivables issues, and embark on mini-projects to ensure resolution of issues, to meet the country\xe2\x80\x99s receivables benchmarks.
• Prepare for monthly Country Credit Collection Meetings.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects and provide recommendations from a finance perspective
• Be proactive in identifying any risks / opportunities, working closely with respective business/function leaders, Operations and regional finance teams for business support and process initiatives that affect credit control and reconciliations
• Supports the business in the execution of new products/distribution or other initiatives into operation.
• Works closely with CFO in Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia\xe2\x80\x99s in all relevant matters relating to credit control functions.

Requirement :

• Bachelor\'s Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills; Able to communicate effectively with all internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven performance in implementing process improvements.
• Strong operator; able to be hands-on but also possesses leadership qualities.
• Able to design and execute solutions independently.
• Process driven, strong skills and understanding of spreadsheets, data analysis and reconciliation procedures.
• Pro-active, strong sense of responsibility and driven.
• Demonstrates analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and with a team.
• Adaptable and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
