The overall Sales Planning team works closely with country commercial leaders, sales teams, marketing teams and product teams to ensure maximum impact for our businesses.
  • The Sales Planning team works on developing the company\'s unified sales plans. The team works closely with country leaders, sales teams and product teams to ensure maximum effectiveness and efficiency.
  • By assessing a broad range of trends and issues that span across markets, customer, competitor, and technology insights, the team develops winning plans that will have a significant impact on the company\'s growth.
The Role:
  • We are looking for a hands-on and operationally resilient Associate to support overall planning for the Grab Commercial team.
  • The role is a balance of analytics, execution and stakeholder management, piloting strategic initiatives in collaboration with various teams across operations, enablement, commercial, self-serve, marketing, and product.
  • To perform this role well, the candidate needs to have strong communication skills, attention to detail, ability to create and follow processes, and a track record of exceeding expectations.
Critical Tasks you will perform:
  • You will provide analytical recommendations based on clear issue framing, systems-level thinking, and rigorous analyses.
  • You will lead the development of experimental business opportunities, including the development of baseline capabilities, definition of the parameters of success, and ensuring a smooth transition to operations.
  • You will support department-level strategy and facilitate the cross-pollination of best practices.
  • You will communicate the vision to stakeholders to bring plans into operational reality.
QualificationsWhat Skills You Will Need
  • You have at least 2 years of experience in a fast-paced environment, in a strategy/operations/customer-facing or related role.
  • You have a minimum Bachelor\'s Degree in business, finance, economics, computer science, engineering, or related fields.
  • You are skilled in a quantitative discipline with a strong business sense and the ability to articulate complex analyses to a wide range of audiences, translating these into actionable business insights.
  • You have superb presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, demonstrated by your capability to synthesize a large amount of information into a clear message.
  • You are customer-focused and results-oriented in all aspects of planning and delivery.
  • You are high-performing and adaptable in a semi-structured environment.
  • You have the ability to look beyond individual issues to identify broader themes with wider-reaching impact.
