ASSISTANT MANAGER, CONTRACT LOGISTICS

(Based in Partnerwarehouse, Kolombong Industrial Development, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah)

JOB SUMMARY:

  • Holder of PNL for East Malaysia and develop Contract Logistics Warehouse and Distributions.
  • Oversees operations for customers, Fiber-home and other new business in Kota Kinabalu.
  • Manage Contractors KPI and ensure execution of services are within customers\' KPI.
  • To effectively execute task and policies to both the outsourced and/or own customer Operations which covers Warehouse Operations, Inventory Management, and update Customer I-Supply system.
  • Result oriented and committed to dateline for task delegated, while exceeding management requirement and supporting the development of additional business opportunities for Sinotrans
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Inbound Shipment
  • To supervise all inbound shipments from client which consist of Import Shipments, Local Supplier on a daily basis.
  • To check and tally in physical quantity received against related Inbound Shipping Documents.
  • To raised discrepancies report if there is any shortage and damaged stocks.
  • To update / record into I-Supply system for stocks received in locator.
  • To perform a weekly / monthly DIY cycle Count as per program set by I-supply.
Put-Away
  • All inbound shipments are put-away within 24 hours and update into I-Supply System.
  • To ensure all put-away stocks and update into I-Supply (Locators)
Outbound Shipment
  • To check I-Supply System tasks and orders downloaded for picking activities
  • To pick stocks from I-Supply and create shipping documents for deliveries.
  • To prepare outbound shipping documents for contractor to collect stocks from warehouse.
  • To execute ship-out status and update inventory on a daily basis.
  • To liaise and communicate with transporter/ subcontractor for the shipments picked from warehouse.
  • To prepare reports and KPI performance, present performance and KPIs
achievements/failures.

Inventory Management
  • To prepare a weekly / monthly cycle count and prepare the count results.
  • To escalate any possible opportunities and threats to management for any improvements required.
  • Monthly reporting on Inventory Accuracy on customer\'s Cycle Count.
Project Management
  • Prepare project and project lead time/ time line for any new implementation projects
  • Manage sub-contractor performance and KPI related to the services rendered
  • Liaising with HR for new recruitment for future recruitments and must attained approval from top management.
Other related to Warehouse / Management
  • To execute all HSSE and Good Warehouse Practice in meeting up customer\'s and Sinotrans requirements.
  • To ensure all tasks set in the I-supply are closed which covers controls, key management, safety requirements, document controls, CCTV, cleanliness of warehouse.
  • To ensure that a safety culture exists at all operations - monitors, audits and reports on the existence of safety programs, understanding and conformity at each operation;
  • To train any new staff recruits on customer Projects which covers SOP, I-Supply and operations requirements set by customers.
  • To prepare SOP for Customer Projects which covers Inbound, Outbound, Putaway, Cycle Count, SOPs related process.
  • Execution and enforcement of HR ISO 9001 policies and participate in audits.
  • Any other job as assigned from time to time.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Diploma/ or Degree in business or related field
  • Experience in handling Contract Logistics operations (warehouse operation, deliveries/distribution project, client management reporting, HSSE). Some experience in business development will be an advantage.
  • At least 5 years\' experience in third-party logistics (3PL) warehouse operations
  • Proficient in Mandarin (written & verbal)
  • 5 day-work week
