Industry: Accounting Firm Location : KL Headcount: 1 Tenure: Permanent Remuneration: Basic Responsibilities: JOB SUMMARY The Assistant Manager assists the top management to oversee day-to-day operations of multiple engagements. He/She will be involved with management of legal, regulatory, and accounting issues that arise during audit engagements. He is responsible for supervision and management of services to clients, including preparation of audit strategy and business plans, setting budgets, scheduling audits, selecting staff and assigning workloads, and financial reporting. .Involved in planning, supervising, coordinating, performing and assigning complex, corporate-wide compliance audits in Trading, Construction, Non-profit Organisation, Manufacturing, Plantation and various industries .Possess solid understanding of accounting and auditing principles (e.g MPERS/MFRS and ISA), quality control standards and technology implementation procedures. .Performs special projects or audits not covered by the Compliance audit as necessary or as directed by manager or partners. These include, but are not limited to, due diligence reviews fraud and suspicious activity research consulting activities over a broad range of topics corporate-wide various complex research and analysis projects corporate-wide .Identify and communicate audit issues, technical matters and improvement opportunities with managers and partners to resolve client issues discovered during the audit process .Assists Manager in the completion and updating of the Compliance Risk Assessment, ensuring the scope and objective of Compliance audits incorporate recent regulatory changes and business line policies and procedures align with regulatory guidance .Guide senior on the decision making process on all but the most unusual audit and accounting matters and also reviewing the audit works .Develop and maintain an excellent working relationship with all levels of client staff to increase customer satisfaction and to strengthen client relationships .Pledge to provide exceptional service to every client by providing individual attention, responsiveness and commitment to understanding their goals and needs .Maintain and comply with the highest degree of professional standards, client confidentiality and personal conduct .Schedule, delegate, and review the work of one or more staff members, support on-the-job training, and evaluate their performance. Requirements: .Have a university degree in Accounting or Finance, or those with a full or partial professional qualification (MICPA, ACCA, ICAEW, ICA, ICAA, CPA(A) or CIMA) .Minimum 4 years of working experiences in auditing with at 2 years\' experience in the similar position .Computer literate with working knowledge of MS Office applications .Knowledge in ProSystem fx Engagement is an advantage .Self-motivated, positive attitude .Attention to detail with a commitment to high quality and accuracy .Strong drive to excel professionally, and to guide and motivate others .Team players who are also able to work well independently and under a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment .Strong leadership and project management skills .Team players with strong communication and interpersonal skills If you are interested in the position, kindly apply directly online by clicking on the \'Apply\' button.
