Job Description

Evaluate current assembly processes and equipment performance to identify automation opportunities. Lead and execute projects to upgrade machines from semi-automatic to fully automatic systems. Recommend appropriate sensors, controllers, and automation mechanisms for improved productivity and quality. Collaborate with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to synchronize all stages of production (parts manufacturing, assembly, and packaging). Support layout planning for the one-floor production system to optimize space utilization and workflow efficiency. Supervise and provide technical guidance during machine upgrade and installation phases. Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal departments to ensure timely project completion. Ensure all automation projects comply with safety and quality standards. Analyse downtime and process bottlenecks to develop preventive measures and efficiency improvement plans. Implement lean manufacturing and automation principles to minimize waste and manpower requirements. Mentor and train local technicians and engineers on automation assembly technologies and troubleshooting. Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and maintenance procedures for newly automated systems.

Job Requirements

Degree in Engineering or a related field Minimum 10 year of hands-on experience Good problem-solving and analytical skills Able to work independently and provide technical guidance to team members.
