Your Contribution

• Explore and implementing manufacturing equipment new ways to automate system concept with latest market technology.
• To design automation systems for new or modify existing equipment to automate manufacturing processes with systematic plan in Capex and roadmaps
• Running & determine acceptance test for automation integration, databases, networks, systems (MES/ SAP) applications.
• System capability improvement (Hardware & software, Automation, Work closely with IT/OT coordinator) base on KPI set.
• Collaborating with other business units to understand how to apply automation concept to reduce operation costs and improve KPI of OEE and MTBF/MTTR.
• Supporting in daily operation and yield issue to eliminate equipment malfunctions and breakdown with engineering idea (Less human dependent concept).
• Development of checklists for structured problem solving of automated systems
• Transform existing equipment conventional pick & place to robotics and servo may need to be done from time to time.
• Identifying opportunities for automation to maximizing operating profit and upkeep equipment performance towards the department goals & target.
• Establish technical manuals, drawings, models, training documentation, preventative maintenance plans and troubleshooting guides for newly established automated equipment/processes.
• Develop an efficient and cost effective automation program for the manufacturing equipment.
• Initiate continuous improvement work to improve equipment productivity and reduce maintenance cost.
• Coaching, training, supervise and lead a team of technical personnel in equipment automation concept and knowledge.
• Develop the engineering expertise and technical know-how in the related field.
• Overall in-charge of automation equipment performance; including maintenance, Operation Ratio, troubleshooting and improvement. Ensure smooth running of equipment to support production to achieve target output.
• To lead a team to convert equipment to automation system to meet product need

Your Profile

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical / Electronics/ Mechanical/ Mechatronic engineering or other related fields with 5 years of working experience .
• Experience in equipment maintenance and supervisory activities.
• Experience in multi type PLC programming (Omron , Mitsubishi, Siemens S7&WinCC) .
• Experience in HMI Programming (Omron , Mitsubishi & Siemens)
• Familiar with IT/OT4.0 , MES , IoT
• Familiar with 6-axis robot & Cobot programming, Machine vision design & concept principles as well as Machine databases control & interface
• Excellent understanding of mechanical systems / electrical system.
• Good understanding on how to read & draw mechanical drawing / wiring diagram.
• Ability to coordinate with outside suppliers
• Strong analytical and creative thinking
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and perform complex system tests.
• Good skill in Microsoft Office, Machine Programming Tool, Technical Drawing Tool
• Knowledge in 3D CAD software (AutoCad,NX)
• Teamwork, good attitude and aptitude towards work.
