As an Automation Specialist at Zurich Malaysia, you will be a vital part of our new Operations Excellence and Automation team. We want you to join us on this exciting journey, supporting various Business Units in their automation projects. Your expertise will be key to achieving our mission of operational excellence!Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using programming languages such as Python and Java.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop solutions that automate manual processes.
• Create and maintain documentation for automation processes, including technical specifications and user manuals.
• Perform testing and debugging of automation solutions to ensure they work as intended and meet quality standards.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for automation solutions, including troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in automation technology, and make recommendations for improving existing processes and systems.
• Provide training and support to end-users on how to use automation solutions effectively.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree in computer science or a related field
• Proven experience working with automation tools and technologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, BASH, VBA, LLM and other Gen AI tools
• Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and tools
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Significant experience in automation engineering
• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages
• Knowledge of software development best practices
• Experience managing automation projects
• Experience with automation tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or similar platforms
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
