Automation Tester (Banking)

Tenure: 1-Year Contract (Renewable)

Salary: open for negotiation

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for banking applications across web, API, and backend systems Execute automation testing for functional, regression, integration, and system testing Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and manual testers to understand requirements and define test scenarios Ensure test coverage aligns with banking regulations, compliance, and security standards Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for resolution Maintain and enhance automation frameworks to improve test efficiency and reliability Participate in CI/CD pipeline integration to support continuous testing Prepare and maintain test documentation, reports, and defect logs Support UAT cycles and production release validation when required

Requirements

Experience in Automation Testing within the banking or financial services domain Strong knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium, Java, TestNG, Cucumber, or similar Experience with API testing (Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI) Understanding of SDLC & STLC in a regulated banking environment Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven, etc.) Good understanding of databases and SQL Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Able to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Pay: RM12,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
