Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we\xe2\x80\x99re looking to add an Automation Vision Engineer located in Batu, Penang.

What a typical day looks like:

• Perform site surveys to identify and document existing customer equipment and processes
• Feasibility study, technical analysis even lab testing for customer new product/process vision applying requirement
• Vision Software architecture & design via programming
• GUI & HMI design and implementation, special as portion of vision function
• Conduct and supervise integration and service by technicians and user engineers
• Collaboration with Machine controls for whole line process, even shop-floor management systems, such as PLC\xe2\x80\x99s, Drivers, Robots controllers, material feeding, MES, ERP based on Industrial communications protocols
• Support & collaborate whole system Commissioning, Qualification, de-bugging, training &service
• Create and maintain related Vision system documentation (logics & functional schematics, state machines, business scenarios, sequencing & timing diagrams, process flows, acceptance test procedures, technical/operational/maintenance manuals)
• Manage the vision system configuration control and function release based on version control
• Coordinate project activities with other associates, outside vendors/contractors and customers.

The experience we\xe2\x80\x99re looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Automation Engineering/Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in image processing, computer vision, and signal interface, and simulate modelling and configurate HW & vision parameter.
• Skillful programming by NI Vision/Halcon/VisionPro/Matro for Vision development, good at AI vision is a plus.
• Skillful on evaluating light, Len, CCD, have experience on developing vision project independently
