About the Department

The Finance and Corporate Services function manages the financial and administrative needs of the Group to help achieve its business goals.

Corporate Real Estate Services

We manage and administer matters relating to real estate on behalf of the Group. These include lease management, facilities management, as well as security and general service matters.

Job Responsibilities

• Managing CRES related tender activities in consultation with Facilities, Project and Security team
• Leads negotiation to achieve competitive rates, terms and service level agreement for related Property services ranging from preventive/periodic facilities maintenance to security services. This in includes renewal of service contracts.
• Streamlining and centralisation of all vendor contracts encompassing Facilities Management, Project Management and Security
• Implementation of proper governance/controls and ensure procurement policies and procedures complies to the bank\'s Procurement and Outsourcing Policy and Guidelines e.g. delegation of authority, on-boarding checks, service performance review, NDAs, standardization of contract terms
• Manage and analyse key functional metrics for process improvement to achieve cost effectiveness.
• Assist in performing Annual Outsourcing Review (AOR) for Outsourced Service Providers (OSP)
• Works closely with Security team in performing the AOR for the OSPs which is a compulsory requirement of Bank Negara Malaysia.
• The AOR involves performing due diligence on the OSPs operations, evaluating BCP plans, ensuring all contract agreements complies with UOB\'s outsourcing policy, etc.
• Leads all branch and office tenancy leasing - Works with property consultants to provide market reviews, trends and rental rates, liaise with Channels on network planning, negotiate tenancy renewals, source, assess and recommend potential sites. Will also oversee all drafting of tenancy documentation.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent
• Min. 5 years\' experience in Procurement and Vendor Management role, preferably in Banking Sector or Multinational Companies
• Knowledge in commercial contract processes
• Excellent analytical, negotiation and communication skills
• Good command in English (written & spoken) and familiar with contracts management
