Job Description


The Content Manager for APAC is responsible for leading the day-to-day delivery of our content programme across 12 markets in 3 different languages. The Content Manager plays a crucial role in creating and managing content for various platforms that resonates with the target audience (B2C and B2B), builds brand awareness, and drives business results.This role will have a direct line management of 2 to 3. This role sits on the business\' Global Content leadership team that supports delivery of the future direction for Content within the business, as well as the APAC Channel Marketing Leadership team. Other requirements include:

  • Working with the Head of Channel Marketing for APAC and regional business partners, to create and deliver a Content strategy and plan that aligns with business goals and target audience needs.
  • Writing, editing, and proofreading content that goes across all various marketing platforms e.g. website, social media, emails, reports etc.
  • Partner with the Global Content team in the development of hero campaigns
  • Manage and balance demand for global support and local content based on resource and business impact
  • Publishing content on various platforms, ensuring consistency and quality
  • Working with other channel leads to build a comprehensive content distribution plan
  • Optimizing content for search engines, user experience, and engagement
  • Updating, revising, and archiving content to keep it relevant and accurate
  • Planning and scheduling content in advance using a content calendar
  • Working with designers, videographers, and other creatives to develop multimedia content to engage the target audience
  • Tracking content performance, analyzing metrics, and providing insights for future content development
  • Ensuring content aligns with the organization\'s brand voice, tone, and style guidelines, at the same time optimised for the platfom.
  • Establishing and enforcing content standards, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Manage two to three direct reports, including writers and a social media specialist
  • Being open to working outside of usual working hours to accommodate different time zones and ensure timely responses to regional or global requests

  • Fluency in English and an additional language is a plus (Mandarin)
  • 8+ years of experience in content creation and marketing
  • Adaptable editorial content style, with expertise in both long- and short-form content production, with an eye for detail and a flair for turning data and insights into engaging copy.
  • Ideally previous experience in Shared Services, and collaborating with global and local teams remotely.
  • Superior project management skills and strategic thinking
  • Strong understanding of the role of content across the customer journey and marketing funnel
  • Curious to understanding local priorities and delivering content that maximizes value for local teams
  • High level of motivation and initiative, the ability to motivate the team and to anticipate company\'s needs
  • Demonstrate success in translating creative content ideas into tangible business outcomes e.g. conversions across the different phases of the customer journey
  • Ensure a data-driven approach to content marketing
  • Experience working in an international multi-brand company with multiple stakeholders is advantageous.
  • Problem solving capabilities and a positive \'can do\' attitude
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management and change management skills
  • Team player with the ambition to make a step change in the way content contributes to growing our business
