Job Summary

Skilled Back-End Developer with strong experience in Java (8 to 21), Spring Boot, and RESTful API development. Will be responsible for building and maintaining high-performance, scalable server-side applications that power modern web and mobile platforms. Involves working closely with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers to deliver robust back-end systems.

Responsibilities & Duties

Design, develop, and maintain back-end services and APIs using

Java (8-21)

and

Spring Boot

. Build scalable RESTful APIs to support front-end and mobile applications. Optimize application performance, scalability, and security. Write clean, modular, and well-documented code. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine application features. Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing. Maintain existing applications and troubleshoot production issues. Implement best practices for software development, including CI/CD and automated testing.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). 5+ years of experience developing backend applications using Java 8 or higher. Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA. Proficiency in designing and consuming RESTful APIs. Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) and strong SQL skills. Familiarity with Maven or Gradle for build automation. Understanding of application security and best practices (authentication, authorization, etc.). Experience with version control systems like Git.
