Senior/ Expert Back End Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a

Senior Back End Developer

to design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions for our

Commercial Claims applications

. This role plays a key part in technical design and implementation, ensuring high-quality, secure, and scalable systems that support global commercial operations. You will contribute technical expertise during concept phases and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver complex IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain

robust server-side applications and APIs

using

Microservices architecture

Translate functional and technical requirements into

effective technical designs

Ensure non-functional requirements such as

performance, scalability, data protection, and IT security

Collaborate with front-end developers and other stakeholders to integrate user-facing components Ensure

long-term maintainability

of systems within the technical and functional landscape Apply

DevOps practices

and leverage cloud infrastructure and

CI/CD pipelines

for deployment and delivery Work in an

Agile environment

, applying appropriate software engineering methods and best practices

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience

5+ years of professional experience

in back-end development or similar roles Strong expertise in:

Java and Spring Boot

MongoDB

for data management

Kafka

for event-driven communication Experience with:

Microservices architecture

Security implementation and

performance optimization

Proficient in

DevOps and cloud technologies

, including: GitHub Actions, ArgoCD Docker, Kubernetes AWS services for CI/CD and deployment Solid knowledge of configuration, release, deployment, and test management Understanding of

AI technologies

and their practical application in enhancing backend development and performance Certifications in

Java, Architecture, Kafka, MongoDB, AWS, or Kubernetes

are an advantage
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM12,000.00 - RM16,000.00 per month

Experience:
