Position Title: Backend Developer Location: KL,Malaysia (on-site) Role Responsibilities: \xe2\x80\xa2 Responsive design practices, delivered cleanly and consistently across a wide variety of platforms, browsers and devices \xe2\x80\xa2 Architect and implement web/mobile back end with efficiency, speed, quality & robustness in mind \xe2\x80\xa2 Assess efficiency and speed of current applications \xe2\x80\xa2 Gather, document, and analyse business requirements in order to help define scope of software development initiatives. May include web/mobile page mock-ups and interaction prototyping. \xe2\x80\xa2 Produce and maintain documentation related to application software (e.q. scope requirements, logical and technical designs, testing and implementation plans). \xe2\x80\xa2 Troubleshoot and implement bug fixes related to client and user reported issues. \xe2\x80\xa2 Play proactive support role and take ownership of technical issues, and work with internal/ cross functional/ external team to resolve more advanced issues when necessary. \xe2\x80\xa2 Collaborate with team members in all aspect of software design, coding, testing, documentation & deployment \xe2\x80\xa2 Deliverables in agile scrum approach Required Experience: \xe2\x80\xa2 B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent \xe2\x80\xa2 Minimum 2 years of experience in back-end web / mobile application development & environment \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in banking web application is a plus \xe2\x80\xa2 Must have 2 years hands on knowledge & experience in the following: Java, spring boot framework & proficient in OOB \xe2\x80\xa2 Prior experience in Java Struts is an added advantage \xe2\x80\xa2 Additional knowledge & experience in any of the following is a plus: ELK, Typescript, Flutter, Mobile hybrid frameworks \xe2\x80\xa2 Detail-oriented \xe2\x80\xa2 Self-starter & team player \xe2\x80\xa2 Analytical & good problem-solving skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Good verbal, written and interpersonal skills
