Backend Engineer Intern Data Infra (summer 2024)
Job Description
: Participate in the system architecture design, optimization, and maintenance of Big Data engines and platform Engage in system performance tuning and troubleshooting, ensuring service stability and high availability Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize features based on business requirements Write and maintain technical documentation, ensuring knowledge consolidation Analyze and solve user problems combining user scenarios Requirements: Currently pursuing a Bachelor\'s degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields, expected to graduate in 2025 Basic understanding of Big Data related components and its internal mechanisms Proficient in Java, HDFS, Kafka, and other relevant technologies Excellent team collaboration and communication skills, able to respond and resolve issues promptly Ability to read technical documentation Candidates must be able to commit at least 3 months of full-time internship from May 2024 Good to have Previous exposure to or coursework related to the Big Data domain Interest in cloud-native technologies, including Kubernetes A solid foundation in algorithms and a keen interest in problem-solving Interest in open-source contributions and eagerness to learn from the open-source community
