Job description
This global electronics chip manufacturer in Melaka is seeking a Backend Test Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee Test Product Engineering, Final Test, Test Process and Vision Process Engineering teams.
- Drive a zero defect environment to ultimately bring down escapees.
- Spearhead all lot disposition activities and initiatives.
- Integrate new methods and practices to optimize yield.
- Cross-functionally collaborate with other relevant teams; RnD, QA, NPI, and Maintenance to instil a Quality mindset across the company.
- Project Management.
- Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- Experience of nothing less than 8 to 10 years within the Semiconductor Industry within Test Engineering (Backend - Process/Equipment/Sustaining).
- Strong foundation in statistical process control, engineering change control and process release strategies.
