: Responsible for different types of backup setup in customer environment including Disk to Disk / Disk to Tape type backups across multiple regions. Provide level 1 and level 2 incident, problem management and resolution for the backup using multiple backup utilities, tape libraries, drives and media. Responsible to backup schedule and backup workload balancing, management of media tapes including tape vaulting process, media management related activities. Customer facing support to include performance monitoring, basic troubleshooting, advised customer on best practice for backing up servers and disaster recovery. Respond promptly and communicate with system custodian on the user service request in a clear and concise manner in written form of email, service ticket and verbally with the user. Perform data restoration for servers, file system and databases for customer while maintaining consistent communication with users. Responsible to analyse and provide custom report on system performance and backup status. Provides other technician knowledges on how to fix, configure and test backup software with customer servers. Communicate with hardware / software representative, as well as internal teams Experience: 8 years\' experience or more in administrative of system back via VERITAS Netbackup, tape and tapeless backup. Experience with HPE StoreOnce backup. Experience with Cohesity backup. Experience with conventional and private cloud backup technology.
