The Role Responsibilities Job Role This role will be responsible for developing global key strategy and standards for Backup and Recovery in Standard Chartered Bank, taking into consideration all available technologies and business requirements. It will be responsible for the design and planning Standard Chartered Bank\'s backup and recovery estate and for providing it with correct levels of security and resilience standards for operation teams implementation. Strategy This role has must have capability to define global backup and recovery strategy for Backup and Recovery estate in Standard Chartered Bank, develop lobal standards and approaches in the perspective of naming convention, security, configuration guidelines, monitoring and etc. aspect. In addition to this, this role also has to manage global standard certified Backup and Recovery products\' lifecycle and release. Business This role has to work with multiple vendors and internal TTO teams to proof-of-concepts on new Backup and Recovery products to enhance or close the gap of existing Backup and Recovery products in Standard Chartered Bank including provide technical consultancies and directions pertaining to Backup and Recovery to all teams in TTO when required and work together with TTO ISD team to design an engineered Backup and Recovery solution based on technologies and business requirements. Processes This role is responsible for architecting and solutioning Backup and Recovery products introduced to Backup and Recovery landscape in the Standard Chartered Bank. People and Talent This role must have ability and motivated to explore any new modernized and robust backup and recovery solutions available in the market and qualify for Standard Chartered Bank before introduce into production environment. Apart from this, this role is responsible to engineer the new solution into standard framework for Backup and Recovery operational consumption. Risk Management This role is also responsible for preparing and assessing the effectiveness of Backup and Recovery\'s security and technical standards deployed into the Backup and Recovery landscape in Standard Chartered Bank. Governance This role must adhere to and employs Cyber Security standards and policies into certified Backup and Recovery products.
