JOB DESCRIPTION \xc2\xb7 To deliver and collect luggage for arriving and departing guests. \xc2\xb7 To greet all arriving guests and bid farewell to all departing guests using hotel standard phrases. \xc2\xb7 Explain room features and available hotel service when checking-in guests. \xc2\xb7 Possess a detailed knowledge of all hotel facilities, their location and hours of operation. \xc2\xb7 To log in the number of pieces of luggage during all check-ins and check-outs as well as other deliveries to guests like messages, telexes, mails, packages, faxes, flowers, etc. \xc2\xb7 To deliver newspapers to all occupied rooms, FIT guests. \xc2\xb7 To run errands for guest when requested (only within the hotel) \xc2\xb7 To page for guests in the lobby and adjacent area with the aid of a paging board. \xc2\xb7 To assist handicapped guests. \xc2\xb7 To maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the concierge counter in the lobby and luggage storage room. \xc2\xb7 Reports to the Senior Front Office on all unusual incidents occurring in the lobby and floor area. \xc2\xb7 To be at their designated position throughout their working hours. \xc2\xb7 To perform any other duties as may be directed from time to time by the Senior Front Office. \xc2\xb7. SKILLS REQUIRED \xc2\xb7 SPM or equivalent \xc2\xb7 Reading, writing and oral proficiency in English / Malay or other languages would be a bonus. \xc2\xb7 Must be willing to work a flexible schedule in order to accomplish all responsibility and tasks. \xc2\xb7 Must be able to maintain good relationships with all departments. \xc2\xb7 Must have a high degree of professional integrity and be able to work in a prudent and organized manner. \xc2\xb7 Must have a commitment to follow all local policy and procedure.
