We\xe2\x80\x99re a business that never stands still.We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Business Intelligence (BI) Support Engineer to be a part of our team. You will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our BI tools and systems, providing support to users, and contribute to improving our BI processes and best-practice working closely with the team and the larger organisation to troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance our BI environment.Our APAC GBS Kuala Lumpur office supports a hybrid working approach. You will be supporting markets in multiple time zones and some flexibility around working hours will be needed.In this role you will be collaborating with various stakeholders across the business including our GBS teams in Lisbon and Bogota, including internal/external stakeholders to support the ongoing business operations.Responsibilities:Monitor and maintain the performance, availability, and security of BI tools and platformsProvide technical support and guidance to BI users, resolving any issues related to data quality, system access, and report generationCollaborate with BI analysts and IT team members to implement enhancements and new features in the BI systemDevelop and maintain documentation for BI system configurations, processes, and standard operating proceduresConduct regular system audits to identify and address potential issues proactivelyAssist in the integration of BI tools with other enterprise systems and databasesTrain users on the effective use of BI tools and promote best practices within the organisationKeep abreast of the latest trends and advancements in BI technologies to recommend improvements to existing systemsTo be successful in this role you will need:Experience as a BI Support Engineer or similar role, with a strong understanding of BI tools and technologies (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, QlikView)Good experience with SQL and database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle)Strong Communicator, you must be able to interact and manage different stakeholders within the organization and be able to explain technical concepts to non-technical usersProblem-solver with a customer-focused mindset in resolving issues quicklyFamiliar with Data Warehouse Design and ETL processesOur ambitions will bring the very best out in you.
