Position Overview:


The Billing Assistant is responsible for managing daily billing operations and ensuring timely invoicing to customers according to their requirements. This role involves coordinating with internal teams, including marketing, trucking, and finance, to resolve billing disputes and ensure all supporting documents are submitted on time. The Billing Assistant also handles inter-company billing and contributes to month-end closing processes, maintaining accurate documentation and reports. This position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:



Issue invoices to customers according to their requirements and ensure submission within customer and finance deadlines. Compile and provide all relevant documents and reports as required by customers. Coordinate with marketing personnel to resolve customer disputes. Prepare credit/debit memos for the finance department and ensure proper documentation for customer credit/debit notes. Maintain proper filing systems and retrieve requested documents promptly. Liaise with drivers and the trucking department to ensure proof of delivery is submitted for billing purposes. Assist with inter-company billing during month-end closing. Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:



Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, or Bachelor's degree in any field. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. Able to work effectively in a team and produce high-quality output under tight deadlines. Quick learner with a positive attitude. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
