We are now looking for a Senior Specialist to join our BI&O team in Malaysia.As BI&O Senior Specialist at Business Sweden your job will encompass a diverse range of tasks within finance and administration, supporting internal entities as well as in an outsourced environment to Swedish companies based in Southeast Asia.The role includes:

• Overall responsibility for assigned clients within finance & admin
• Full sets of accounts using different accounting software
• Electronic banking with different banks
• Cash book and cash flow maintenance
• Invoicing
• Year-end audit support
• Liaising with company secretary / auditor / tax agent
• Periodic (monthly, quarterly, yearly) reporting based on clients\xe2\x80\x99 requirements, reporting package and timeline
• Update financial data to ensure all information are accurate and immediately available when needed
• Assist with company establishment process in Malaysia and Singapore
• Ensure finance administration, filling and documentations are in order
• Proactively take initiatives to solve delivery related risks and issues
• Deep knowledge of rules and regulations in the markets related to the service delivery
• Attend & provide ad-hoc advice to clients
• Ad-hoc task from time to time

The role is based in Kuala Lumpur, but you will be expected to work with our teams and clients around the region, as required.Core competencies and collaborative skills

Formal requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Accountancy, ACCA or equivalent
• Minimum 6 to 10 years relevant working experience
• Familiar with accounting software
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
• Positive working attitude
• Customer service focus
• Excellent command of spoken & written English
• Good communication skills
• Adaptable to learn new processes, concepts, and skills
• Meticulous and able to multi-task
• Able to work under time pressure, able to prioritize workload and meet strict deadlines
• Good team player and pitches in to get the job done
• Ad-hoc travelling in South East Asia, primarily to Singapore
• Experience in working with international companies or multiple legal entities within a group is a plus
• Experience in working in Singapore or with Singaporean clients is a plus
