Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in managing the daily operations and maintenance of the biogas plant to ensure optimal performance. Monitor process parameters and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation issues. Support the implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance programs. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards. Work closely with the management team to improve plant efficiency and biogas yield. Supervise maintenance teams and contractors in plant servicing activities. Analyse operational data to identify areas for improvement and energy optimization. Maintain documentation and prepare technical reports on plant performance and maintenance activities.

Requirements:

Degree

in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related field. At least

2 years of experience

in biogas, wastewater treatment, or palm oil milling industries. Hands-on experience with pumps, blowers, and biogas handling systems. Familiarity with biogas production processes, anaerobic process, and utilization technologies. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to optimize plant operations. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both spoken and written.
