Position Title : Boilerman 1 & 2

Tenure: Permanent

Remuneration: RM3,000 - RM6,000

Responsibilities

\xc2\xb7 Responsible for the maintenance of boiler.

\xc2\xb7 The maintenance of good combustion and control of fuel feed to maintain working pressure under varying conditions. This should also include the duty of ensuring fuel is of the recommended size suitable for good combustion.

\xc2\xb7 Ensure safety in the boiler area.

\xc2\xb7 Contribute and update all data in meter reading log sheet.

\xc2\xb7 Good knowledge in regulation of boiler operation according to Machinery Act Malaysia.

\xc2\xb7 Perform other maintenance duties as and when required.

\xc2\xb7 Ensure boiler is operated in safe and efficient manner.

\xc2\xb7 Ensure boiler and its auxiliary equipment are at optimum operating condition.

\xc2\xb7 Minimize steam supply interruption.

\xc2\xb7 To conduct 1st level of troubleshooting when boiler and its auxiliary equipment breakdown.

\xc2\xb7 Contribute and update all data in meter reading log sheet,

\xc2\xb7 To perform chemical analysis to monitor quality of boiler water and take immediate action when the analysis is out of specification.

\xc2\xb7 Ensure compliance to Health and Safety procedures as required by FMA or OSHA.

\xc2\xb7 To operate and maintain the steam boiler to sustain and achieve the required pressure and temperatures respectively

\xc2\xb7 To oversee the day to day operations of the boiler and configure the boiler to meet the production target.

\xc2\xb7 To upkeep good housekeeping (5S) at the boiler\'s premise and follow strict safety procedures at all the time.

Requirement

\xc2\xb7 Minimum: Must possess Boilerman Certificate Grade 1 by DOSH

\xc2\xb7 At least 2-3 Years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
