This, along with our commitment to our local communities, is what makes working at Puratos so magical.To strengthen our team in Kuala Lumpur, we are looking for:Senior/Technician cum Boiler(Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia)Your MissionReporting directly to the company Chargeman, the successful candidate for this function will be responsible to supervise and carry out all maintenance work on machineries and equipment within the office/factory compound to ensure its functionality and to plan for regular preventive maintenance.What you will do

• Oversee all M&E, plumbing, fire protection and fire alarm systems.
• Operates mechanical tools and equipment as required to fabricate or repair industrial parts and equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment, hydraulics, or other mechanical systems including electrical facilities, power supplies, machineries (production machineries, warehouse equipment, air handling unit [AHU], fan coil units [FCU], transformers, air-compressor), safety systems (fire protection equipment), building maintenance and facilities.
• Troubleshoots mechanical problems and performs root cause analysis in partnership with operations to solve problems and make improvements.
• Provide support of start-up of new equipment to ensure it meets all mechanical design specifications.
• Assist to interpret and revise technical data sheets, electrical schematics, I/O wiring and panel drawings.
• Respond to Site equipment and process alarms, troubleshoot and make effective repairs.
• Maintaining spare part inventory & request for replenishment of critical spare part to reduce possible downtime.
• Carry out scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance for all machineries & equipment.
• Check and optimize utilities consumption & detect waste with action plan
• Establish and maintain contacts with all machinery, equipment and spare parts suppliers and service companies.
• Record keeping for all services & maintenance that are being done.
• Prepare necessary reports about the actual situation of equipment, spare parts, repair & service, and utilities.
• Create and follow the yearly revisions plan
• Training and supervising the production and technical personnel.
• Prepare and complete written communications in strict compliance with all GMP/HACCP requirements.
• Perform assigned duties with a high degree of proficiency and mindfulness of personal safety and those around.
• To provide supervision and leadership to Maintenance Technician.
• Operation of a small scale boiler- Start up, operate and shut down boiler and auxiliary equipment according to DOSH procedures. Regularly inspect and monitor boiler performance and efficiency, adjusting controls as needed to maintain desired steam pressure and temperature. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on boiler, pump and piping system to ensure safety and reliability. Finally, maintaining accurate logs and records of boiler operation, maintenance activities and inspections for regulatory compliance.

What we expect from you

• Advance Certificate in Engineering, Electrical or equivalent for maintenance technical job.
• Demonstrated ability and skills to become an experience maintenance technician for at least 5 year.
• Deep knowledge and understanding of preventive maintenance principles and tools.
• Good knowledge and understand main technologies in industrial installations: electricity, pneumatics, hydraulics & mechanics.
• Good understanding of production processes.
• Ability to manage spare part inventory in an effective and economic way.
• Creative in solving problem, independent and dependable.
• Good understanding of Health, Safety & Environment in the workplace.
• Good personality, team work oriented.
• Good communication skill (both Bahasa and English)
• Good computer skills.
• Ability to handle Grade 3 boiler (small boiler) is highly advantageable
