Boilerman, Selangor

Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group's Industrial Division is recruiting on behalf of a highly reputable multinational organization well known in operating high valued chemical terminals across the globe.

Key job responsibilities include:

• To be on standby whenever the boilers and thermal oil heaters are running
• To monitor performance and conduct routine maintenance to ensure optimum performance of the boilers, thermal oil heaters, water softeners, steam headers, steam traps, steam, and condensate piping
• To ensure product/s which require heating are heated as per instruction/s
• To report on boiler performance and record product temperature when heating is carried out
• To monitor and report on boiler fuel usage, boiler water treatment chemicals and water usage
• To prepare hot water for line cleaning/tank cleaning when required
• To ensure good housekeeping of the boiler house, to promote safe and clean working environment
• To participate in ERP activities
• To assist the Maintenance/Technical Executive/Technical Manager in procurement of water treatment chemicals, spare parts and consumables for the boilers and thermal oil heater
• To propose recommendations to the management on improvement of boiler and thermal oil operations to ensure high level of boiler/thermal oil heater efficiency as well as high savings on cost
• To follow and comply company safety regulation and participate actively in safety activities
• Any other task/s given by the Managers/Executives/Supervisors

• Diploma/Advanced Diploma or equivalent in Engineering is preferred
• Possess at least 2 years of related working experience
• Hard-working and committed to the job
• Good communication skills in Malay & English language for both spoken and written
• Able to work collaboratively
