Job Brief:We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Underwriter to support the growth of our Engineering and Bond Classes portfolio. In this role, you will manage and underwrite bond and engineering business to drive profitability and achieve strategic goals. Responsibilities include overseeing portfolio management, optimizing systems and processes for a seamless workflow, and collaborating with the product and pricing team to enhance business performance.Job Responsibilities:Underwriting

• Drive underwriting function to assess risks for engineering and bond class.
• Frequent review of underwriting parameters and underwriting performance of various schemes.
• Attend to referrals and support sales in growing the business.
• Ensure all underwriting matters are adhere to Company\xe2\x80\x99s Underwriting and Treaty Guideline

Portfolio Management

• Assist in providing Portfolio Analysis including Monitor key ratios, identify key actions to maintain targeted ratios and oversee execution of action plans.
• Identify specific poor performing accounts including review of claim reports/activity and review of portfolio by the producer.

System and Process

• Key owner of core system which includes quotation module, play active role in giving feedback for enhancement.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders, such as IT, project managers where relevant.
• UAT and system testing for product launch.
• Manage system setup for underwriting products.
• To review and identify room for improvement for underwriting processes especially for bond business.

Job Requirements:

• Experience in Engineering/Bond Underwriting is a bonus.
• Growth Mindset and capability to actively drive and support Business Development
• Open minded Team Player with strong communication skills to drive change.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Being a self-starter with a start-up mindse
