Roles and Responsibilities
• Ensure that the topside systems and related utility design are safe, operable & maintainable.
• Ensure that the gas systems and related utility are fully compliant to the project BOD, Company's standards and contract requirements.
• Work with multi-discipline engineering leads/SME and Pre-commission teams to generate a robust solution that meets the company's commissioning, start-up and operational requirements.

Job Purpose
• Manage the stakeholders both internally and externally on key interfaces between the adjacent process system, marine system and the structural interface to the hull.
• Manage the major technical queries, design changes and provide technical support to all commercial/contractual negotiations related to the system.
• Liaise with vendors or technical partners on the engineering deliverables and fabrication activities, (i.e. construction priority, erection sequence, inter-discipline interface).
• Engineer with extensive package experience, as well as being well versed with rotating equipment, static (pressure vessels) equipment, mechanical handling.
• Responsible for the engineering and approval of rotating equipment, mechanical handling and packaged units on assigned projects.
• Responsible for preparation and approval of project-related standards and job notes.
•Review and approve flowsheets for the correctness of depicting of rotating equipment, mechanical handling and packaged units, operating and design conditions and piping and instrumentation connections
• Develop equipment specifications to meet the client’s standards, international and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare technical bid analysis and evaluation reports for rotating equipment, mechanical handling and packaged units.
• Review and approve supplier documents for rotating equipment, mechanical handling and packaged units and distribute.
• Responsible for overall technical management/coordination on supplier orders for rotating equipment, mechanical handling, and packaged units. This includes technical management/coordination with other engineering disciplines.
• Perform inspection and witness performance testing where required.
• Experience of typical issues and concerns for complex FPSO projects EPCIC.
• Strong technical understanding of the key design requirements for FPSO gas systems particularly on gas treatment and compressors.
• 6-10 years’ FPSO project experiences involving 2-3 FPSOs.
